A Hichiriki player came for rehearsal of the concert. Hichiriki is an ancient Japanese instrument, one of the recorders that is in charge of the melody part of a gagaku orchestra. This was the first ensemble Hichiriki with the koto harp for me. Pleasant sound of those two Japanese musical instruments ensemble will made us feeling freely and relaxing. Hichiriki player also enjoyed the Koto experience, too!
